FGFR3-TACC3 gene fusion

1.將Oral cancer的gDNA及cDNA臨床sample透過PCR的方法篩選完畢。

2.測試過不同方法進行Nested PCR，期望改善PCR結果smear的現象，目前看來效果有限。

3.之後的實驗方向 : 對手上的oral cancer sample進行分析，偵測其中是否含有C9 type的gene fusion或者已在其他cancer中被報導過、不同於C9 type的F3-T3 gene fusion。

HPV in oral cancer

關於HPV in taiwan oral cancer

今年在生醫年會 有看到長庚解剖學科 鄭授德  副教授 有一張poster

是長庚所蒐集的OSCC case中 HPV P16的比率 (CISH & IHC)結果

裡面有 pathological characteristics

不同部位oral cancer 的patients HPV P16+ 的比率 在 40% ~ 60%

overall 比率 也在一半左右 我記得是50出頭

但是 HPV 跟 survival rate / pathological characteristics  p value 都沒有顯著差異

Survival curve是有一比較低的狀況



因為 第一作者(鄭) 在現場拍他自己的海報

我本來以為是可以拍 但是 瞄久了 他就問 對這有興趣嗎? (囧)

所以 我不敢拍 只能憑印象寫出來
